From 1924 to 1974, the world-famous Grand Ole Opry radio show was recorded at the Ryman Auditorium each Saturday night. At that time, Hatch Show Print was located right across the street from the historic venue, on 4th Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. While in town, the Opry stars would stop in Hatch to order posters for their upcoming tours. They would then send the prints to the individual cities for someone to hang up all over town and announce their scheduled show. This print is a reproduction of one of these concert posters. Here, Ernest Tubb and his Texas Troubadors were soon to be visiting San Marcos, Texas. The folks in that town were likely quite excited about this Texas native's return and the big evening planned! Letterpress print. Hand-printed in Nashville, Tennessee
